Before you write
A few things answer themselves, and it may be quicker than waiting for a reply:
- A file opened as plain text. Leaf reads 177 extensions; anything else opens as text rather than refusing. Tell us the extension and we will look at adding it.
- Double-clicking opens something else. Windows keeps whatever you chose before. Open Leaf from the Start menu and pick your file types from the panel on the empty page, or set it under Windows Settings → Default apps.
- A document renders oddly. Press
Ctrl+U to see the file as written. If the source looks right and the render does not, that is a bug worth reporting — send us the file if you can.
- Leaf will not edit or save. That is deliberate. It is a reader, and it never writes to the files it opens.

Refunds
Leaf Viewer is free at the moment. Should it ever cost money and you are not
happy with it, write to billing@leafviewer.com
within 30 days and you will be refunded in full — no reason needed. The
terms say so in writing.
Security
Found a vulnerability? Write to
security@leafviewer.com rather
than opening it publicly, and we will come back to you. Leaf makes no network
requests and never writes to the files it opens, so the surface is small — but
it does parse untrusted documents, which is worth a careful eye.
